I'M A LONDON-BASED FREELANCE JOURNALIST ...

with an MA Media in Development from SOAS, University of London. I did my Bachelor's of Journalism at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada and I have freelanced since 2017, working in print, digital, TV and radio.

My hometown is Guelph, Ontario, but I tend to move around a lot. Since finishing my Bachelor's, I have worked in Malaysia, Ghana, Nepal and the UK in the news media, humanitarian and development sectors.

I specialise in narrative storytelling from a human-interest perspective. My beats are broad - I cover human rights, aid and development, gender issues, and the arts for outlets including Al Jazeera, The New Humanitarian and Quartz, among others.

Thanks for taking the time to browse my work! If you have any feedback or comments, or if you want to discuss a potential story idea or collaboration, please send me a message using the form below.
