I'M A LONDON-BASED JOURNALIST ...
currently working as the digital editor for New Internationalist magazine and the host and producer of The World Unspun podcast. I'm also the newsletter editor for Translator magazine. I have an MA Media in Development from SOAS, University of London and a Bachelor's of Journalism from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. I have freelanced since 2017, working across print, digital, TV and radio.
My hometown is Guelph, Ontario, but I tend to move around a lot. I have worked in Malaysia, Ghana, Nepal and the UK in the NGO and independent media sector.
I specialise in narrative storytelling from a human-interest perspective. My beats are broad - I cover human rights, aid and development, gender issues, politics and the arts for outlets including Al Jazeera, The New Humanitarian, The New Arab and Quartz, among others.
Thanks for taking the time to browse my work! If you have any feedback or comments, or if you want to discuss a potential story idea or collaboration, please send me a message using the form below.
