I'M A LONDON-BASED JOURNALIST ...

currently working as the digital editor for New Internationalist magazine. I have an MA Media in Development from SOAS, University of London and a Bachelor's of Journalism from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. I have freelanced since 2017, working across print, digital, TV and radio. In 2022, I started contributing to boom saloon, where I now work as the part-time digital editor, commissioning stories about the intersection between the creative industries and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

My hometown is Guelph, Ontario, but I tend to move around a lot. Since finishing my Bachelor's, I have worked in Malaysia, Ghana, Nepal and the UK in the news media, humanitarian and development sectors.

I specialise in narrative storytelling from a human-interest perspective. My beats are broad - I cover human rights, aid and development, gender issues, politics and the arts for outlets including Al Jazeera, The New Humanitarian, The New Arab and Quartz, among others.

Thanks for taking the time to browse my work! If you have any feedback or comments, or if you want to discuss a potential story idea or collaboration, please send me a message using the form below.
